After Little Professor Book Center, Karen Piacentini followed up by opening a new book store in it's place, Fenton's Open Book, 105 W. Shiawassee Ave., Fenton.
“I just thought there was still a need,” she said.
Piacentini added a coffee bar with wi-fi and moved the children's center with plans to work closely with schools in the area when providing books.
Store hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays; 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
